Welcome

Jeannie Hampton, Photographer

For several years I’ve enjoyed photographing various Austin clients and many organizations around the world. I love meeting people, and working together toward a common vision, and have made many wonderful friends around the globe. I have been an Austin Portrait & Commercial Photographer, a traveling international storyteller, international school photography teacher in Central America, a starter and innovator of Togs., a collective vision group to keep creativity in the life of students and the young at heart. I’ve worked with businesses, organizations, families and in various capacities and locations for both online and print media services. I live in the Austin area and have loved this place and called it home for over 24 years. After many years of living internationally and many moves, I’m home.

Photography

I’ve enjoyed shooting for organizations locally in Austin and around the world. Beginning with a consultation, I take the time to get to know your market, product, and desires as well as your goals and future strategy vision. I recommend shot lists and work to find the right style and setting for your product, as well as formal headshots needed.

Our Philosophy

Whether you are looking for a new look or vision for your business, I want to help you tell your story through photos, within social media outlets, and let your passion and work become part of the bigger story out there in the world. My portrait work has spanned natural light or studio and has been in still settings or has required hiking to remote locations in various countries. I’m flexible, easygoing, and enjoy getting to know you and about your work. I want to hear from you about your goals, and what you’re looking for. I listen and learn, and make suggestions and guide you through the process to a deliverable you can be proud of.

I bring with me a bit of experience, working alongside organizations like Restore International aka Love Does both stateside and in Uganda, Austin Convention Center, Various humanitarian organizations: Juntos Servimos (Mexico), Teethsavers (Nicaragua), Young Life | Vida Joven, and Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Gulu, Uganda to name a few, as well as many businesses all over Texas. Our shots have been featured in Rachel Ray Magazine, CRAVE, a showcase of women proprietors, Mom Magazine, Origins Magazine 2015, Cover shot on ‘A Path Appears’, a book about transforming lives by Kristof & WuDunn (Authors of #1 bestseller, Half the Sky), and other locations both online and offline. Past work includes several businesses across Texas, including but not limited to Noonday, Love Does, the ladies of Austin Tidbits, Homeslice Pizza, Toy Joy, Taco Xpress, Liz James, Urban Betty, Austin Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and Fire Tree Studios and many more. International work has spanned many countries, including opportunities to photography Ignacio Perez Borrell of Buena Vista Social Club in Guatemala, and other heroes of mine, like Sister Rosemary, of Uganda. Along with the names and work of people you may recognize, I photograph many everyday beautiful stories around the globe.
